My main source of inspiration is interwoven, with the colours and textures of nature. Memories, impressions and personal faith all figure in as well, as do elements of pure abstraction. There is interplay in my work between appreciations of the natural world, light, atmosphere and the effect of man on the environments.

Poppies #1, 2013.

I was on a mission to paint a picture for my living room. A painting that  would tie in the Red of my couch and the Green of my chairs...
I began to set up my studio and prepare the grounds...

Not just one layer... But many were needed to build up the deepth of colour... My theme of Poppies soon emerged from the canvas.
 

 
The final product... Art transforms spaces and brings elements together.
